Columbia University celebrates the life and career of cartoonist AL JAFFEE, creator of the MAD Magazine Fold-in, with a panel discussion in honor his donation of his papers to their Rare Book and Manuscript Library. Former DC Comics president (and sometime Columbia lecturer) Paul Levitz will moderate, and joining him will be cartoonist Peter Kuper, Mad magazine art director Sam Viviano, and–of course!–Al himself at the Butler Library on Tuesday March 4 at 7:00 PM in room 523.
A reception will follow the event. As always, Comics@Columbia events are free and open to the public.
